Terms and Conditions
By signing up for the Birmingham Water Works Board's e-Bill service you agree to accept and abide by the terms and conditions set out below.
- By using the Birmingham Water Works Board e-Bill service, you agree that you will no longer receive a paper bill, paper notices or other paper forms of communication concerning your account(s) or service.
- You agree to pay all amounts owing to the Birmingham Water Works Board based on the paperless bill you are provided in the same manner as if that bill was a paper bill mailed to you.
- Once you have applied for e-Bill service, an email will be sent to you, and all registered users for this account, when your bill is ready for viewing.
- You must have a valid e-mail account to use the e-Bill service. You must provide us with the correct and currently valid address of the e-mail account to which you would like notification of your bill availability to be sent. The accuracy of that e-mail address is entirely your responsibility and in particular, but without limitation, should that e-mail account ever become invalid or should you wish notification of your bill availability to be sent to a different e-mail account it shall be your responsibility to notify us. You shall remain fully liable for any bills, and any late charges that accrue thereon, for which notification has been sent to your previous e-mail address or any other incorrect or invalid e-mail address you have provided.
- We reserve the right, at our discretion, to discontinue the e-Bill service. We will provide you with notice of any such termination or change as required by law.
- The Birmingham Water Works Board cannot guarantee uninterrupted and/or reliable access to the e-Bill service and makes no guarantees whatsoever as to its operation, availability, or functionality, or that it will be free of error or disruption or otherwise. We will provide notice to you regarding permanent discontinuance of service where the circumstances reasonably allow.
- In the event you breach any of these terms and conditions, Birmingham Water Works Board reserves the right to discontinue and prohibit your future use of the e-Bill service.
- The Birmingham Water Works Board reserves the right, at our discretion, to alter these terms and conditions for the e-Bill service. We will provide you with notice of any such alteration or change as required by law.
- If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or unenforceable for any reason, then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions.
